Astro Battleground舞极限2014 Finals

Final Top 2 teams Will Compete to Become the Champion on 31^st May 2014 at Mega Star Arena

26^th May 2014 , Kuala Lumpur – Astro Battleground 2014《Astro 舞极限2014》 has been known across Asian countries and recognized internationally. The champion of the programme will later compete against other Asian 舞林高手 (Expert dancers) on an international stage. The finale of this great street dance competition will be held on 31st May 2014 (Saturday), 8pm at Mega Star Arena, Jalan Kuchai Lama, Kuala Lumpur. 

Final top 2 teams “S-Striker” and “Fearless” will be meeting each other for the last battle which consists of a total of 7 consecutive rounds. The team which has the most votes from the judge for each round will be given 1 point per round. The team with the most points after 7 round will become the champion. The champion team members will then undergo battles amongst themselves in a solo dance contest. The member with the highest points will become the solo dance champion.

Kuala Lumpur, 17^th May 2014 – Over the last weekend, our team has been given a chance to do a coverage on an anime event which was titled C2AGE RAVE. It was a pleasant two-day events and it’s a treat to the cosplayers as well as fans of comic, anime and games.

Meet The Popular Cosplayers In Person!

There were quite a number of special guests who have made an appearance during the event this year. The list includes Zeasonal, Plallen Mikk, Clive Lee, Hiiro and Reika Arikawa who were all prominent cosplayers which have a lot of fans.

Earlier on during the first day of the event, there was a press conference held whereby these guests were interviewed by the media members. Later on, there was a meet-and-greet session with them for their fans. All of their fans were crazy over them as they saw their favorite cosplayers appeared right in front of them!

Location: Putrajaya, Preceinct 4, Park facing Galeri

The Zombie Run comes to Malaysia with a very Malaysian twist! There will be zombies and participants (in groups of 5). Participants will have an objective while the zombies will prevent them from completing their tasks.

The participants and zombies will be placed in a jungle like setting that stretches almost 45 hectares with broken walls, abandoned huts, destroyed cars and a lot more. This is NOT a normal marathon.

There will be no shooting, no guns and no violence between participants and zombies. However, there will be ZOMBIE FUN waiting for you!

Greeted The Media Members with “好久不见”!

The press conference was hosted by DJ from MYFM, Emily Poon. Without much of a delay, Emily has welcomed James Yang 杨永聪to the stage. He has greeted the media members by singing one of his songs in his latest album, titled “好久不见”. He performed the singing while playing his guitar. It’s the first time for the Malaysian media members to meet him in person and most of us were mesmerized by his vocal. 

James’ current goal in his career!
James currently hoped that he could improve his Mandarin and write Mandarin lyrics for his own songs. He wished that he could deliver his feelings through his songs via that way.

James feeling close to Malaysia!

James grew up in London. However, his parents have been staying in Malaysia for quite some time. He stated that he occasionally would come over to Malaysia when he was younger.

He even jokingly mentioned “Sungei Wang” as “生意旺” (Good business)! It’s quite a hilarious scene because his Mandarin speaking was quite funny!

Either way, he’s trying to ask the fans and the media members to remember to attend his promo event at “Sungei Wang” which was held later that day.

After Oscar Leung’s filming of first episode themed as“跑步（马来松）”(jogging), Ruco has also come over to Malaysia today (4^th May 2014) for his episode with the theme of “Badminton”. The filming was done in One Shamelin Pioneer Badminton Academy.
