A Totally
Enjoyable Show! Punk Queen Avril Lavigne Rocks!
As describe above, me and my buddy has really
enjoyed the show very much. The show began at around 8.35pm. It started with
Avril coming out on stage with her cute punk looking dress! She kicked off the show with her song “Hello
Kitty”!
All the audiences were screaming loud for her
as she came on stage! Due to excitement, most of the audiences including the
VVIPs who sat at the most front row of the layout to cheer and sing along with
her. The standing VVIPs were then requested to be seated again because
they have blocked the views of the VIPs seating audiences. Avril Lavigne voice
was indeed great! We were totally mesmerized by her performance.
Here’s To
Never Growing Up!
Avril has been in the scene of music industry since many years ago. I still remembered listening to her earlier songs such as “Sk8er Boi” since more than 10 years ago. This concert has made all those old memories flown into my mind again as Avril sang a lot of songs which are not just from her latest album but also from the old ones as well! “Complicated”, “My Happy Ending” and etc have really made my day because I really loved those songs when I was younger.

“Here’s To Never Growing Up” was very nice
too! I especially love the effect on the screen showing and highlighting the chorus
lyrics. Besides the effects of lyrics, there were some other video presentations
being played on the background screen too which were quite interesting and
entertaining!
Lighting was
good!
The lighting for the show was amazing too! There was one part during the show where Avril was interacting with the fans. Her every hand movement came along with a change of the lighting. It was well-choreograph giving an additional brilliance to the show!

Overall, the show was a great one. However, I
did wish that the pop-punk princess could sing “When You’re Gone” and “Black
Star” as well. But nonetheless, both me and my buddy have enjoyed the show to
the fullest!
I am sure many Little Black Stars (Avril’s
fans) still can’t get enough of her after the 18 songs performed by her.
(nearly 1 hour and 45 minutes). Many of them still stayed behind after the show
with the hope to see Avril again. Well, let’s just wish that she could come to
Malaysia again soon!
Once again, million thanks to AMC Live Group Malaysia for bringing us
this memorable concert.
