18th August 2014 – After the success of Taiwanese romance film “You are the Apple of My Eye”, the netizens-voted most-wanted top novel of Giddens Ko’s “Café. Waiting. Love” is set to hit the big screens of Malaysia on August 28.
In the year of 2011, “You are the Apple of My Eye” based on Giddens Ko’s novel became an instant hit among the Chinese film market.
Cooperating once again with the director Jin-Lin Chiang, Giddens Ko is bringing his next best-seller “Café. Waiting. Love” to the theatres, allowing his classic characters to come to life on the screens.
The casting for this film was brilliant, including bringing back cantopop singer and actress Vivian Chow to act as the café owner. Other casts of the movie include Maegan Lai, Sung YuHua, Bruce, Pauline Lan and Lee Luo.
As part of the promotional tour of the film, main casts Maegan Lai, Sung YuHua, Bruce and director Jin-Lin Chiang will be meeting their fans in Kuala Lumpur and Penang on August 22 and 23. Do not miss the opportunity to get up close and personal with them!
