2013 – The wait is over. After 10 years, fans of popular
TVB drma “Triumph In The Skies” can now rejoice as Astro bring the series and
the all-cast members to Malaysia.
The
original cast members Francis Ng, Ron Ng and Nancy Wu joined by new cast
members, Chilam Cheung and Fala Chen have made their first overseas appearance
to promote their new “Triumph In The Skies II” which is going to be premiered
in Malaysia Astro On Demand (CH 361) and also in the stunning High Definition
(HD) on the recently launched Astro On Demand HD (CH 350).

Shortly
after the press conference of “Triumph In The Skies II” at D’ Italiane has ended.
The cast actors and actresses proceeded to the Main Concourse of Paradigm Mall
for their Meet-and-Greet Session with the fans who have been patiently waiting
for their appearance. Some of the fans even came there as early as 4.00pm to
get a good position for a better view of their favourite artists.
When
the artists arrived, they introduced their ownselves and also about their
characters in the upcoming drama, “Triumph In The Skies II”!
The drama will be aired on 15th July 2013 in Malaysia Astro On
Demand (CH 361) and Astro On Demand HD (CH 350).
Besides
their brief introduction, the trailer for the drama was shown on the screen.
The sequel seemed like it’s going to be even more interesting than the first
one as it featured sceneries from more different countries.
After
that, Ron and Nancy went to the backstage because they need to prepare for
their performance on stage. So, left with Francis Ng, Chilam Cheung and Fala
Chen on stage to interact and play games with fans. A few fans were chosen by
these artists themselves. One of them intended to be picked by Francis but
ended up chosen by Fala Chen. Either way, the fans were lucky to be able to
play some games with the artists.
What
are the games played? The “guess a word” contest. One person will be giving
clues while the others will be giving the answers. All of the words are the
name of countries. Chilam and his fans partner only managed to guess 2 country
whereas Fala’s team and Francis’s team were able to guess all 6 countries.
Francis was very fast and creative. Some of the clues he gave was quite funny
especially the “haze” clue. Everyone was laughing when heard of him giving such
this clue. Francis’s team won, but all of the fans were winners because all of
them were given souvenirs and most importantly, able to get up-close with these
three famous celebrities.
After
that, the three of them left while Ron and Nancy came back again on stage. Each of them performed a song respectively.
After
that, all of them came back on stage and played the last games with fans. One
of the fans who was chosen on stage has actually asked Francis Ng to take a
photo of her with Chilam. Then, they played a game whereby each of them with
their fans need to be perform something if landed on specific countries in the Snake
Ladder alike game. Fala, Chilam and Francis were requested to perform Gangnam
Style!
