Zhiny黄之豫 popularity has earned her the“最佳人气女神”during the Public Meet

October 2013- Miss Astro Chinese Pageant 2013《Astro国际华裔小姐竞选2013》top
10 finalists have met and greet the public last Saturday at Paradigm Mall. Those who have attended
the event during that day were able to witness the charisma of the top 10
finalists. During that day, No.3
finalist Zhiny 黄之豫 has
outshined her fellow contestants and received the award of“最佳人气女神. This
is an advantage for her before the Finals on November 2013.
The award of “最佳人气女神” was voted by everyone who was
present during that day including the public audience, sponsors, media members
and photographers. Zhiny who looks like a Hong Kong artist徐子淇 has
won the award with the highest votes and she received a hamper sponsored by Adonis worth RM 730.
There is a difference in Miss Astro Chinese International Pageant this year compared to the
previous years because the top 10 finalists have been revealed to the public
before the semi-finals was even on aired. During the event that day, the 10
pretty ladies appeared in dresses and presented themselves with catwalks and
self-introduction. This was the first time for some of the finalists to
interact with the public, so some of them have some “hiccups” when speaking in
front of the public. Despite that, the audience was very supportive and they
have given applause to all of the finalists.
Worth mentioning is, 10 PJ College Arts and Design (PJ CAD)
fashion design students were also invited during that day and have carried out
a T-shirt modification activity with the top 10 finalists. With their
creativity, plain T-shirts were able to be made into unique T-shirts with
beautiful designs. The “Most Creative T-shirt” award was given to the students
who designed the best T-shirt. This award was given as a recognition and
encouragement to the student’s work. The award was originally based on the
votes by the top ten finalists. However, all of the finalists have voted for
their own designers. Thus, the final decision was done by the previous Miss
Astro International Chinese Pageant champions instead. All of the judges have
given their votes to No.4 Angelica 叶小庆’s T-shirt designer student, Michelle. The winner has received a
sponsored 2 days 1 night hotel package worth RM 1,740 sponsored by Gold Coast Morib.
Besides, the most anticipated segment, the talent-showing session
was also carried out during that event. All of the talents including the dance by Zhiny黄之豫, Angelica叶小庆&Erica陈秋萍 have amazed the crowd!
Besides, the emcees have also announced that韩国观光公社吉隆坡分社 will
be sponsoring the top 3 finalists of Miss
Astro Chinese International Pageant this year to fly over to South Korea, Seoul
for cultural exchange and also to allow them to experience the life, language,
cooking and the attire in Korea. The Korean trip will be recorded and shown on Astro华丽台（第311频道）in
this coming December! Do stay tuned for

Astro Chinese International Pageant 2013 Champion!
Due to the positive reception last year, the TV audience and

to submit your questions to the finalists. After the main organizer filtered
the questions, the selected questions will be asked during the Q&A Session in the finale to test
the finalists’ spontaneity and wisdom.
