KUALA LUMPUR, 25th OCTOBER, 2013 Mediviron UOA Clinic has celebrated its 12th Year Anniversary a few days ago with much pomp and fanfare to the delight of its top 30 premier clients, business partners, celebrities, media partners and team of bloggers.


A portion of the earnings from celebration initiatives of the clinic has been pledged to a non-profit organisation, MyKasih Foundation. The clinic combines treatments that emphasise on beauty and general health which is in line with their goal to renew self-confidence.

Aesthetic Physician and Owner of Mediviron UOA Clinic, Dr Chen Tai Ho said in his opening speech, “The 12th Year Anniversary marks the clinic’s long-standing journey as a leading aesthetic industry player. On a personal level, I started the business in my early 20s and the clinic now serves as a premium and encompassing clinic for local and regional clients who seek overall beauty improvements.”

The early birds were fortunate enough to be treated with a full makeover service by the GlamzStudio with a minimal cost of RM50 and a complimentary general Body Mass Index (BMI) test BY Mediviron UOA Clinic. In an effort to honor their loyal clientele, the clinic has also announced winners for several categories for Ageless Beauty, Best Body Transformation, and Best Couple Award in between the performances during that day.

The contests were judged based on the treatments provided and their outcomes over a one year period. The main judges included Aesthetic Physician and Owner of Mediviron UOA Clinic- Dr Chen Tai Ho, John Tan Wei Jun, winner of 16th Manhunt International Male Beauty Pageant, and Simone Teh, a world renowned model and trainer.

Nominees for ageless beauty were all presented with one area of Botolinium Toxin A (Botox) treatment worth RM600.  Ms Alice Tan, the winner for Ageless Beauty on the other hand has walked away with aesthetic treatment worth RM2600 sponsored by Juvederm.

Best body transformation nominees were granted with weight loss product worth RM270. As for the winner, Puan Aznita Kulup was given a Coolsculpting treatment worth RM2,500 sponsored by Neo Asia.

Nominees for best couple were awarded with aesthetic product & voucher worth RM500. The winners Mr & Mrs Maxwell walked away with Stem Cell treatment worth RM1,500, 1 Cycle of EZ6 from Neo Asia worth RM2,500 and 1 area of Botox worth RM600.

The winners of Ageless Beauty and Best Body Transformation were crowned with a tiara whilst the Best Couple was cheekily garlanded with a hot pink feather boa.
The Best Dressed Man and Best Dressed Lady of the day were also rewarded Fusion Scientific with CLIV hampers worth RM1,000.

Talents that are coming from the fashion and music industry have also been showcased during the event. Glen Yu, also known as the ‘Leslie Cheung’ of Malaysia took the stage and serenaded the guests for the evening. The Terengganu born singer performed a mash up of Stand Up by Leslie Cheung and the energetic Twist and Shout to set the mood.

Another highlight of the event includes the clinic's creative collaboration with SIMONES MODELS who proudly strutted the runway wearing Atelier Azrul Azizan’s Ready To Wear Collection 2013, IMAAN’s statement necklaces and Surprisel Sdn Bhd’s authentic designer bags and accessories. Guests were allowed to make their purchase straight off the runway with discounted prizes.

Former LimKokwing Fashion and Retail Design student, Azrul truly encapsulates his versatility in designing for men and women in his ready to wear collection which he unveiled for the first time during this event. The winner of Most Creative Collection during the LimKokwing graduation Fashion Show presented 12 of his designs that are relevant and suitable for those who seek effortless chic.

IMAAN, on the other hand is the brainchild of two young Malaysians, Mohd Zulherizal and Abid Shamsuddin who share similar sense and passion in producing statement necklaces. Their designs emphasised on craftsmanship representing the lavish lifestyle in its signature Gold and Black coloured pieces. Their handmade accessories are carefully designed for bold and edgy women using semi-precious stones such as Carnelian, Sungilite, Jaspers, and Amethyst. Guests were able to purchase these one of a kind pieces at an affordable RM300 t0 RM500 price range.

SIMONES MODELS is founded by Simone Teh, often referred to as the mentor amongst rising models. Her extensive experience of working with world’s famous brands such as Byblos, Escada, Oscar de la Renta, Armani, Versace, and Issey Miyake puts Simones Models as one of the most sought-after Malaysian model agency.

The event simultaneously offered guests the opportunity to access the latest luxury designer bags and accessories brought especially from Surprisel Sdn Bhd’s during the fashion show. Brands from Coach, Gucci, Prada, Kate Spade and Burberry were showcased on the runway and available for purchase. Surprisel Sdn Bhd’s which sells luxury branded items at discounts from 35% to 70% offered a further 8% today for everything in store as a gift to Mediviron UOA Clinic and its clients in view of the celebration. Surprisel had actually given 8% off to all Mediviron UOA staff for the week leading up to 19th October 2013.

According to Dr Chen Tai Ho, the clinic is proud in recognizing young and upcoming designers and talent through their celebration. Therefore, most of the designers’ items that were up for purchase offered massive discounted price, parallel with Mediviron UOA Clinic’s concept of offering affordable treatment to ensure everyone can feel aesthetically beautiful.

Recently, the clinic has unveiled its new refurbished look and inked an exclusive partnership with MyKasih Foundation as part of their Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives to empower the destitute and the poor.
The self-sustainable skills programme aims to give the welfare recipients a new hope through skills training, job employment or entrepreneurship.
