Malaysia all geared for FC Barcelona Asia Tour!
The highly anticipated clash between FC
Barcelona and the Malaysian Tigers is set to make its mark as one of the most
exciting events in Malaysian football calendar this year!
Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, 8th August
2013 – Malaysia, as one of the only
two countries in Asia selected to be a part of the FC Barcelona Asian Tour 2013
has been eagerly gearing up towards the arrival of one of the world best
football team to our shores.
Making their way to Malaysia
to take part in exciting friendly match against the Malaysian Tigers as part of
the final leg of their Asian Tour 2013, this also marks the first time ever
Barca will be playing in Malaysia. This further adding the the anticipation of
this momentous occasion. The FC Barcelona’s visit here will definitely make a
tremendous mark in Malaysian history as football fans both locally and
internationally will be gathered in Malaysia to witness the kick-off of this
amazing match!
This event is organized by B.S.C.S.R.L
DTO. Futbol (M) Sdn Bhd (BSC) and supported by the Ministry of Tourism and
Culture Malaysia and Malaysia Major Events (MME), a division of Malaysia
Convention & Exhibition Bureau (MyCEB). The event is expected to host 80,00
spectators and draw over 8000 fans from across the region to Kuala Lumpur.
Over the past few years,
Malaysia has hosted a repertoire of major international clubs including
Manchester United, Arsenal, Liverpool and most recently Chelsea. The appearance
of FC Barcelona in Kuala Lumpur for a friendly match will no doubt be an
inspiration for the Malaysian team.
